Charity Trek

Trekking in Nepal combined with hands-on service: trail cleanup, school maintenance, classroom painting, infrastructure support and library development.

A group of Nepali hosts and international visitors wearing marigold garlands outside a building
A visiting group welcomed at the start of a Charity Trek programme.

Charity Trek is run in partnership with Mountain Routes. Participants trek, and they also work: trail cleanup, school cleaning and maintenance, classroom painting, infrastructure support and library development.

It is presented as a way to take part rather than as a fifth programme pillar. The service days feed directly into the same schools, trails and community sites the programmes already support.
