Health, Relief & Community Resilience
Bethanchowk water tank
A community water tank restoring reliable water access for at least 60 households, completed in July 2025.

Construction of the Bethanchowk water tank ran from October 2024 to 9 July 2025. On completion it restored reliable water access for at least sixty households.
The tank followed earlier work in the same community: support to the Bethanchowk health post on 1 January 2025, and an Empowering with Dignity session with eighteen women on 28 January 2025. Working repeatedly in one place, rather than once in many, is what allowed the water project to be planned with the people who would maintain it.
