HISCUS works with funders, companies, volunteers, wards and journalists. Each needs something different first.

Current initiative
Menstrual health education paired with reusable pad making, run as repeat sessions in the places participants already gather.
Since 2018
Completed on 13 April 2018 with The Nestling Trust UK. As reported for 2025, eleven girls are supported there, and two young people who grew up at the home have moved into higher education and careers.
No names, personal histories or identifying details of children are published. Imagery of children is place-based or client-confirmed for public use.

From the field

Health, Relief & Community Resilience
Nine months of construction ended on 9 July 2025 with reliable water access restored for at least sixty households, and a pattern for how HISCUS works in one place over time.

Women & Girls
Ropeway Sadak, Bethanchowk and Bhaktapur ran months apart in 2025. The format that connects them is deliberately unglamorous: talk, then make something.
