Privacy
The formal policy is in preparation. What follows is a factual description of what this website does, written from the code rather than from a template.
Policy status
HISCUS has not yet published an approved privacy policy. Rather than publish invented legal language, this page describes the site’s actual behaviour. The approved policy will replace this text.
What this site collects
The enquiry form collects the name, email address and message you enter, plus the optional phone number, country and organisation, and the enquiry type you select. It is sent to HISCUS so that someone can reply to you.
Your consent checkbox is required before the form will submit. The form will not display a success message unless the message was actually delivered.
What this site does not do
- No advertising or third-party tracking scripts are loaded.
- No cookies are set for analytics or marketing purposes.
- No personal data is placed in URLs or query strings.
- Fonts and images are served from this site's own domain rather than a third-party CDN.
Abuse prevention
The enquiry endpoint applies a short-term rate limit per connection and uses a hidden honeypot field to filter automated submissions. The IP address used for rate limiting is held only in memory, for one minute, and is never stored or included in the enquiry sent to HISCUS.
Retention and requests
Retention periods and the route for requesting deletion of your enquiry will be confirmed in the approved policy. In the meantime, you can ask HISCUS to delete an enquiry you have sent by getting in touch.
