The Sarangkot Nestling Home was completed on 13 April 2018, built and run in partnership with The Nestling Trust UK.
As reported for 2025, eleven girls are supported at the home. Two young people who grew up there have progressed into higher education and careers.
A home, not a project cycle
Residential care is measured in years, not funding periods. The work around the home reflects that: a 700-metre shortcut path was built to make the village more reachable, and the site itself has been maintained and improved over time.
